"Never stop thinking different."

Welcome to the Computer Architecture and Nanosystems Design Laboratory (CANDL). Our research encompasses both experimental and theoretical work on the design of multicore/SoC microarchitectures, memory based solutions and energy-aware high performance computing, and we work at the intersection of cutting-edge technologies in reliable nanosystem designs and reconfigurable/evolvable architectures, growing out of a diverse spectrum of environments - from those in the high-end server space to those in the embedded domain. Our research has an influence on the design of next generation computer architectures, which foster new research directions and direct contributions to several areas of mobile computing, embedded systems and multicore design. They are expected to be the main design paradigm for future information technology. We are always thankful for being able to wake up everyday and be in company of someone else.
