Robotics Explorer Post

New for the 2008-09 school year, the Coastal Robotics Club will bring high school students to the GA Tech Savannah campus to design, build and program Vex robots for competition.  Membership is open to students from public and private schools from all counties.

The team will be operated as an Explorer Post, which is coordinated by the Learning for Life program.  We are planning two meetings each month, one Friday and one Saturday, with students released from school for the Friday sessions.  Learning for Life has well established relationships and agreements with the Savannah Chatham County Public School System, but can and is willing to work with public and private schools and students outside of SCCPSS.  Also, Explorer Post students are usually Juniors and Seniors.  Freshmen and Sophomores are equally welcome, although they may be limited to Saturday Sessions.
