BuzzCards are identification cards for Georgia Tech. All students, faculty, and staff are required to have a BuzzCard for identification purposes. At Georgia Tech Savannah, BuzzCards are also used for door access and as debit cards at the BuzzCafe.

You can obtain your BuzzCard on the Savannah campus through the BuzzCard office in ELAB 35. You will need your gtID# and a picture ID to have your card made. If you have questions regarding your BuzzCard at GT-S, please contact Natalie Cosner at 912.966.7924 or natalie.cosner@gtsav.gatech.edu.

How to deposit funds into your BuzzCard Account

  1. Online. Log-on to the BuzzCard Website: www.buzzcard.gatech.edu and click on the MyAccount button. Log-on to MyAccount using your email "username" and "password." Click on Deposit, and follow the directions.
  2. Call the BuzzCard Center in Atlanta at 404.894.2899 or 877.483.3248 to make a deposit over the phone.

BuzzCard card fees:

  1. Initial Card: $20 (Guests, Contractors, Affiliates, Alumni)
  2. Replacement Card: $25
