Abstract
This talk will focus on manufactured products and processes and the inter- relationship between unit operations, customers needs and costs. It will suggest some processes to increase commercial success and the role that Herty Advanced Materials Development Center plays.
Presenter Bio
Mr. Harding brings global experience in sales, marketing and business development to Herty. With a BS in Chemistry from Queensland University of Technology in his home town of Brisbane Australia, an MBA from the Katz school of business at the University of Pittsburgh and studies in Finance at INSEAD in France, Mr. Harding has focused on industrial technology development and applications. During a 12 year career at Calgon Corporation a subsidiary of Merck, based from Asia, North America and Europe he built world wide water treatment businesses. Most recently he served as Executive Vice President of Acuity Specialty Products a major manufacturer of cleaning and maintenance products leading their sales, marketing, strategy, R&D, logistic, quality and customer service.
