Want to be an Engineer?
A special opportunity is coming your way!
The Savannah Engineering Academy is a five-day summer program for high school students considering careers in engineering. Program sessions and hands on activities are planned, developed and presented by local businesses, volunteers from professional organizations, and engineering professors.
Academy participants interact with engineers, compete in hands on challenges (such as building castles of cards, designing and testing water filters, etc.) and tour facilities such as Gulfstream, JCB, Georgia Ports Authority, and Standard Concrete Products. Activities and site visits may vary slightly by year.
