Didja See It? Didja See It?
Adobe's CS3 Launch Event? Well we did and we can't stop jumping around in anticipation. The recorded launch is here. We wonder if it will include the uncomfortable technical glitch that brought everything to a screeching halt for over 15 minutes. We hope not.
It's an Exciting Time for Packaging

Garry Kasparov Has a New Book Out
How on earth did he find the time to write it?
[An aside that will interest perhaps two readers of this page at the most: while searching Amazon for "Garry Kasparov" to find his new book so you wouldn't have to, the search engine turned up "Rede/Speech." Amazon seems to think this is a chess DVD. It most certainly is not. So why is this interesting? Because Rede/Speech is a DVD of a performance by Blixa Bargeld. Who is, as we all know, front man for Einstuerzende Neubauten. Who is mentioned below! Spooky, eh? Clearly the Fates intend for us to add both to our extensive library.]
How Do We Love Thee, CS3?
Honestly, we don't know yet, but Adobe's CS3 news conference is today at 3:30, so if you ring the WWBBHQ during that hour, please don't expect us to answer. (But feel free to come by and watch with us - our Webbot's going to make popcorn!) Here's a preview to whet your appetite!

Today's Grammar and Usage Lesson: Weary, Leery, Wary
This gem was spotted earlier today on a major-network news site. We suspect that neither the writer nor the "original developer of Botox" cited in the piece meant to actually encourage people to grow tired of cheap Botox treatments. Rather, we are inclined to believe they would instead like people to be leery or even wary of cheap Botox treatments. "Weary" means physically or mentally exhausted. Fatigued. "Leery" and "wary" mean suspicious and watchful, respectively. Example: We are weary of this common malapropism, and slightly wary of those who make it.
