The Georgia Institute of Technology is pleased to announce that a one-day Research Symposium on the Characterization and Behavior of Interfaces (CBI) will be held in conjunction with the Fourth International Symposium on Deformation Characteristics of Geomaterials (IS Atlanta 2008). The CBI research symposium will be held on September 21, 2008 prior to IS Atlanta 2008 which will be held on September 22-24, 2008. While many participants attending IS Atlanta 2008 may also choose to attend and participate in the CBI research symposium, it will be possible for individuals to only participate in CBI or IS Atlanta 2008 as they choose. A separate hard-bound proceedings volume and CD will be prepared and published by Millpress for the CBI research symposium.
