NO FOOD OR DRINKS PLEASE
in any computing lab or instructional lab. Please read the safety
policy. There are convenient tables and eating areas located very near the
labs in each building.
·
DO NOT WAIT UNTIL THE LAST MINUTE TO FINISH A LAB, PRINT
OUT HOMEWORK, USE THE PDF DIGITAL SENDER,
or put oneself at the mercy of limited computing or lab resources. If it is
required to send in a pdf and confirm by email then allow time to do that from
one of the partner schools or GTS DERC – if everyone waits until the last hour
before class resources may be busy. The majority of the time the general
computing lab has seats available. However, there are busy times to be aware of
and plan around if necessary.
·
Please do not enter an
instructional lab for general computing unless issued a key. Only students
registered for a lab as listed on the lab pages should be in that lab. We must
ask this since we are limited on the specialized equipment required to complete
labs and for your own protection.
·
Please do not use
classrooms for general computing. Due to the sensitivity of the DL equipment the
classrooms must remain closed during non-class times.
If there are computing or lab
needs outside of what is stated above, suggestions for a better solution, any
questions or concerns then please
contact us anytime.
