BE RESPONSIBLEResearch
advisors and course instructors are responsible for ensuring that students and staff under their
supervision abide by these safety policies and laboratory, workshop, or studio
rules. This includes times when the students or staff may be in an area
without the presence of the research advisor or instructor. Student
and staff are responsible for
following the instructions of the supervisor, safety policies of the
institute, and laboratory rules. |

lying about unsupervised. 1.

spaces for which you have been given permission. 2.
Close the door. 3.
Do not prop
open laboratory, workshop, or studio doors at any time. 4.
Immediately
report missing equipment, keys, or buzz cards. |
SAFELY HANDLE CHEMICALSSome engineering courses make use of hazardous
chemicals. Students taking CEE 4200 ME 4053 should read the MSDS, ICSC, NIOSH, or OSHA
